The 60,000+ square-foot research facility at our world headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, houses state-of-the-art equipment for conducting research in molecular biology, genomics, immunology, cell physiology, food processing, and food and aroma chemistry. It is just one of our many research facilities.
Nestlé Purina scientists conduct research on animal feeding behaviour and nutritional needs. We only conduct tests that are used in routine veterinary home care and studies must support advancements in the quality of life of dogs and cats. We do not support or use any invasive procedures. We do not participate in any research that requires inducing disease or the euthanasia of dogs and cats. Our efforts are guided by a code of ethics that meets or exceeds standards of the relevant legislations.
